Photos: A ghost town on Staten Island

25 Oct

Of all the neighborhoods hammered by Hurricane Sandy, Oakwood Beach on Staten Island sustained some of the worst blows. Of 186 homes in Oakwood Beach, five owners turned down a buyout, leaving the neighborhood a ghost town of boarded-up homes and empty lots overgrown with weeds. (Yahoo News)
